Who is behind SierraVista?
Born in Madrid in 1998, Bosco Elizalde, better known as Eli, grew up as the youngest of five siblings, where family adventures sparked his love for the mountains. Summers spent in Cantabria introduced him to surfing, a passion that continues to shape his connection to nature and the outdoors. After earning a degree in Business Administration, Eli built a career in sustainability and biotechnology marketing, working for a German multinational.
Eli’s journey into photography began at 17 with his father’s camera, and it quickly became a lifelong pursuit. From capturing weddings to working on creative projects, he balanced his corporate career with his growing passion for storytelling through images. Now, Eli has taken the leap to fully dedicate himself to photography and videography, blending his love for the mountains, surfing, and outdoor life into every project.
Born in Buenos Aires in 1998, Bosco developed a passion for lifestyle and automotive photography during his university years, collaborating with brands and events throughout Spain. After graduating, he built a career as a commodities trader based in Hamburg, Rotterdam, and Madrid, experiences that broadened his international outlook and creative vision. Despite several years in finance, his enthusiasm for photography and storytelling continued to grow, leading him to co-found SierraVista alongside Eli, a close friend of over 20 years, with the mission of capturing authentic stories through every image. A passionate traveler, Bosco draws inspiration from exploring new places, which fuels his creativity. Outside of his professional work, he enjoys surfing, trail running, hiking, biking, golf, tennis, and is an avid admirer of cinema and all forms of art, especially music. For him, every photograph represents an opportunity to tell the most genuine and compelling story of the moment.
